I feel like the title of this post is pretty self explanatory. I love easy meal ideas for lunches or dinner, and this one works for both! Orzo pasta is great hot or cold, and you could do either for this one. Cook your orzo, drain add in chopped cherry tomatoes, avocado, feta and toss it all with some olive oil, black pepper, a blend of dried or fresh Italian herbs and a teensy hint of garlic powder. Eat it hot right away or you can make this ahead of time and have it later chilled (except for the avacado- it does not do well in the fridge. Add this in right before you eat it if you do it cold). It is delicious and you can make it as healthy as you want it to be! Enjoy!

This last Saturday I went to an apple orchard with my family! We were celebrating about 6 fall birthdays and it's been a tradition to go to this beautiful orchard every year. It's officially fall now and I'm loving it. Yes I'm kind of that stereotypical white girl who loves fall, but I fully embrace that. I bought myself an amazing smelling candle (a wood wick, totally worth the $14), baked a mock apple pie using zucchini (grandma's recipe), made homemade applesauce and banana pumpkin muffins. Oh and I also broke out the scarves and skinny jeans and boots so you can see that I'm loving all that is fall.
Anyways, at this cute little apple orchard we took a hay ride, saw some adorable baby goats, ate many yummy samples and bought ourselves caramel apples and other homegrown apple delicacies.
Our little screaming Annabelle.
Not our baby but a cute little child in a poncho.. I couldn't resist.
Had to finish the day with a little impromptu photoshoot. It really was a perfect fall day.
Stay tuned for my next fall themed blog post: Homemade Iced Chai Tea Lattes. Seriously they're amazing and you don't want to miss this recipe.

I took these photos at the beginning of August of my little doll of a niece, Annabelle. At the time she was about a month and a half old. I'm gonna tell ya the truth, I honestly think I have more pictures of her crying than I do of her not crying. She's a bit a of a fussy lady but that just makes her extra adorable when she's happy :)

The reality of a newborn photoshoot, haha.
That face just makes me melt.
Love this one.
The cat wanted to get in on the family picture.
I'm really hoping they'll make this crying by the teddy bear pic their Christmas card this year...
